SROA Membership
We invite you to consider membership in the Society for Radiation Oncology Administrators. The Society for Radiation Oncology Administrators is a national organization that serves to improve the management aspects of radiation oncology and the practice of radiation oncology as a cost-effective form of health care delivery. The SROA provides professional development opportunities to administrators of radiation oncology centers that are freestanding or based in hospitals or academic centers. Classification of Membership
Active Members shall be currently engaged in administrative responsibilities of radiation oncology at the executive, divisional or department level, on a full-time or part-time basis. Functions should include a spectrum of responsibilities in (1) personnel: technical, clerical and ancillary employees; (2) budgetary responsibilities in at least two of the following areas: personnel, operating expense, capital equipment; and (3) development of operational procedures and guidelines for radiation oncology departments.

Contributing Members shall be those persons who are not eligible for Active membership, but wish to contribute toward the goals of the Society. Contributing members may include consulting and commercial firms having products directly relating to radiation oncology. Contributing members shall have all the privileges of membership extended by the Society except those of making motions, voting, serving on committees and holding office.

Honorary Membership may be conferred upon any person who has rendered distinguished service to the Society. Honorary membership shall have all the privileges of membership extended by the Society, except those of making motions, voting, serving on committees and holding office. Honorary membership does not exclude the honoree from the other categories, providing the individual satisfies the requirements of the desired category.

Annual Membership Dues are established by the Board of Directors.
Current annual dues for Active Members: $190;
for Contributing Members: $265.

Admission Procedures
Please note that process requires approximately 8 weeks to complete.

Submit a completed application form with an application fee ($190 for Active or $265 for Contributing), a copy of your job description to the Society office.

Applications will be reviewed and endorsed by the Membership Committee.

Accepted applicants will be notified by the Society.

REFUND POLICY: If your application is not approved for membership, $50 will be deducted to cover the cost of processing your application and the balance will be refunded. Your application will not be deemed complete and will not be processed until your membership dues and all attachments are received.
